About

Who we are

Learning a language should never be boring.

Menu des Langues was born from years of exploring a wide range of language teaching methods and teaching French and English in both Ghana and France. Over more than a decade, we have worked with a diverse range of learners, including immigrants, students, expatriates, and examination candidates both young and old. Our learners come from different nationalities and different language backgrounds. Through these experiences came one important realisation: language lessons cannot be a one-size-fits-all.

Who we are

Elorm Aku Adih

Founder and Teacher

I am a Ghanaian living in France with a Master's degree in Language Didactics, specialising in teaching Languages for Specific Purposes. I take great pleasure in helping learners understand the intricacies of languages, and in seeing them grow in confidence and appreciation as they progress.

Over the years, I have worked with immigrants, expatriates, professionals across various industries, and students from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. These experiences shaped my understanding of the real challenges language learners face in different contexts.

I later decided to launch a more personal project built around a teaching method I truly believe in. That is how Menu des Langues was born. My goal is to make learning English and French a satisfying, engaging and enjoyable journey for every student, and to help them achieve real, lasting progress.

The idea

Language is like a menu

A menu offers choices. It allows each person to select what best suits their taste, appetite and purpose. Language learning is much the same.

No two learners are alike. Some need a language for work, others for travel, studies, examinations, or simply for the joy of communicating with new people. Some prefer structured grammar lessons, while others learn best through conversation, games, music, reading, or real-life situations.

Just as a good restaurant doesn't serve the same meal to every customer, effective language teaching shouldn't offer the same learning experience to every learner. Instead, it should provide a variety of approaches, resources and activities that learners can choose from according to their needs and goals.

Your success is our mission.

At Menu des Langues, language learning is not a one-size-fits-all experience. We believe learners should have a menu of options that keeps them engaged, motivated and actively involved in their own progress. Our role is to guide each learner in selecting the right combination of lessons, practice and support to help them succeed.

Learning a language is a journey, and like a well-balanced meal, it is most enjoyable when it is thoughtfully prepared, personalised, and shared with others.

Your motivation inspires everything we do, and every learning journey is personalised to help you achieve your language goals with confidence and enjoyment.
